Cancellation Policy

Payment & Deposit Policy Upfront Booking Fee / Retainer: A non-refundable deposit (or full payment for consultations) is required at the time of booking to reserve your spot on the calendar. This amount will be applied directly toward your final tax preparation invoice. Final Payment: Complete payment is required before your tax return is officially e-filed with the IRS and state tax authorities. Cancellation & Rescheduling Notice Required: We require at least 24 hours' notice to reschedule or cancel an appointment. Late Cancellations & No-Shows: Appointments cancelled with less than 24 hours' notice or no-shows forfeit their booking deposit of $50 dollars. A new deposit will be required to reschedule. Document Submission & Deadlines Timely Uploads: All requested tax documents, ID verification, and signed intake organizers must be uploaded to your secure client portal (TaxDome) at least one week prior to your scheduled appointment. Rescheduling for Missing Docs: If required documents are missing prior to the call, your meeting will be rescheduled to ensure we can make the best use of your session time. Late Arrival Policy 10-Minute Grace Period: If you are running late, please notify us. If you are more than 10 minutes late without notice, the session may be marked as a no-show, and you will need to reschedule. Virtual Meeting Expectations Online Readiness: All consultations and tax review sessions are conducted virtually. Please ensure you have access to a stable internet connection and a quiet space during your appointment time.
